Chippy Whippy

I have also failed to document the newest addition to our family, Chippy Whippy! We think she was born in May 2010, and like her sister, she was a street baby who charmingly approached Uncle Steven, who then referred her to a happy home! We love her dearly, even at 5 am every morning when she is ready to PLAY!!

First post in a long time!

WOW, it's been months since I last posted. We are winding down our wedding planning and very excitedly getting ready for our big day in just a few weeks. We can't believe it! We have family and friends coming from near and far and we can't wait to see everyone and celebrate the greatest day of our lives! Here are a few snapshots from our planning...

This morning, the new Lonny issue was launched! I love this online mag - it is so inspiring. I couldn't get over the Dash & Albert rug that was in one of the living rooms they featured... I think it would be perfect for our living room! I'm going to order it and hopefully this will put an end to my quest for the perfect rug! Thank you Lonny!

We're Engaged!!!!

It's been a long time since I last posted! Since then, we got ENGAGED!!! C gave me the most perfect and wonderful proposal - it was my birthday, I was coming home from work and thought that he was making us a nice dinner at home. Well, I opened the door and at first glance, the kitchen looked quiet and empty.... I opened the door further... and there he was on one knee with our beautiful ring!!! We jumped and danced around the apartment and called our parents and then hopped in the car to go out to eat at Anella!

We are so unbelievably happy and excited!! I am so lucky and blessed to be marrying my soulmate and best friend for life. I am going to begin posting more about our wedding inspirations!
